This indicates that the Missouri State Highway Patrol has found a potential match that will require a manual inquiry into their system for possible match determination. The amount of time to complete this manual search can be from 2 to 7 days. When the result of this manual search is determined, it will be emailed to the business or individual requesting the search.
If the Missouri State Highway Patrol does find a criminal record match to your request, it will trigger a RAP (report of arrest and prosecution) sheet. The rap sheet will be examined by the Criminal Records Division personnel for completeness and accuracy. When the RAP sheet is received by MO Background Checks it is converted to an Adobe pdf file and emailed to the business or individual requesting the search. Please note that the subject of a "Record Found" shall be afforded the opportunity to challenge the accuracy and/or completeness of this record before being denied employment, license, certification or privilege of any nature. A charge without final disposition carries the presumption of not guilty until the time it is adjudicated guilty. Suspended imposition of sentence dispositions are not convictions and become closed records when probation is completed or finally terminated. The Missouri Highway Patrol cannot guarantee the record request relates to the person in whom you have an interest unless fingerprints accompany the request.
